The peace of Jesus Christ be with you!
Welcome to enterthenarrowgate.org. You have entered through this gate to the website for Ste. Marie Parish. The title of this site comes from the Gospel of St. Matthew chapter 7, verses 13 through 14 where Jesus says:
"Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way easy that leads to destruction and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few."
Here at Enterthenarrowgate.org, we invite you to probe our resources for help in discerning life’s choices. Daily, we are faced with choices which can be eternally life giving or destructive. Here we invite you to pass through the gate and travel with Jesus who has assured us that He is the “Way and the Truth and the Life” (Jn.10:10).
Therefore, the purpose of our presence here on the web – is to inform you about Jesus Christ, His teaching, His Body (the Church), His revelation of the love offered by God our Father and the power of His Holy Spirit which is given so that we might travel through the gate of Eternal Life.
I pray that this online encounter with Our Lord Jesus Christ will inspire you to deepen and more passionately live your faith in Him through the Sacraments of the Roman Catholic Church. For through the Sacraments we believe it is possible to physically encounter the living God, and be equipped to accept and carry out His missionary mandate to “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”
If you are not Catholic perhaps Enterthenarrowgate.org may be a window through which you may peer into Catholicism for insight into the treasures of the way we live the Gospel in worship, scripture, teaching, and sacramental life.
I invite you to come back to this site frequently, see and experience all that is going on at Ste. Marie. You are most welcome to join us for the Holy Mass on Sundays and during the week at the scheduled times that are listed. You are welcome to check out our many educational opportunities and programs we offer both on line and in real life.
May Almighty God bless you…
Sincerely yours in Christ,
Fr. Moe
