Our Primary goal is to inform a new generation of lay people to be fluent in and comfortable with Sacred Scripture by reading the Bible with the Mind of the Church.
 
But more than simply fostering an increase in Biblical literacy, we hope to inspire participants to enter into the heart of the Living Word of God and to be transformed and renewed in order to interiorize and be animatedby the Word of God in the person of Jesus Christ.

In this way we will be empowered by the Holy Spirit to fulfill the primary call of the missionary Church to be Christ and bring Christ to others.In utilizing this model, we hope to help people experience the heart-to-heart encounter that Jesus’ disciples experienced on the first Easter night and to carry the experience to others.

If you are thinking of starting or joining a Bible study at Ste Marie please contact  the Office of Evangelization and Adult Ministry at 647-2597.  We ask that all Ste Marie Bible Studies register with our office so that we can record the study being used as well as the day and time the group meets in order to put any prospective new members in contact with the group leader.
